Using WeVideo to Engage Learners
If you are a Chromebook user, there is good chance you have heard of, or have used WeVideo. Incorporating video into the classroom (both teacher and student) is a highly engaging strategy. This presentation will give ideas for incorporating WeVideo into your classroom and will provide you with tips to take you from a novice to an expert and have your students engaged in demonstrating their learning. Bring a laptop to fully participate in this session.

We will cover screen-casting, editing videos, YouTube, using green screens, and documenting what your administrators don’t see during a single observation. Digital escape??? Students love doing and succeeding in a digital escape. A digital escape can be cross curricular. In this presentation, you will complete a digital escape and  learn how easy it is to create one.  Digital escapes are great ways to check a students understanding of the skills you have taught. Students LOVE digital escapes! If you are attending this session, it is important that you are familiar with creating and working with Google Sites and Google Forms.
